Innovation is key in the Tech World to be distinguished from other companies, and this is what Caterpillar did when they unveiled their new smartphone Cat S60 during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on the 21st and 25th of February 2016.

Cat Phones, subsidiary of Caterpillar Incorporated for Heavy Duty Products, announced during the Mobile World Congress, the release of the new smartphone Cat S60 with new innovated specifications and features like thermal imaging which made the Cat S60 the first smartphone with thermal imaging.

The other new feature Caterpillar announced was that their smartphone is sturdy for being resistant to the following factors: water, breaks and bumps, humidity, rain, and sunrays. These factors made Cat S60 the strongest phone when it comes to system functions and design.

There is no doubt that Caterpillar Inc. is targeting a certain market segment with their new smartphone like construction workers, Extreme Sports players, Firefighters, Military, and anyone who needs a sturdy phone in their line of work. Note that the Cat S60 passed all the Military Specifications tests like a 2m drop on reinforced concrete, dropping it in water and then heating it, etc…
